On September 14-16, 2018, the “Butterfly in blue” Ethno Fashion Show takes place in Toronto during

the 2018 BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival with the participation of models with pulmonary
hypertension in Ukraine and Canada.
Organizers of the Etno Fashion Show “Butterfly in blue”: Yuriy Mysyk, Petro Nesterenko-Lanko, Oksana Kulish.
The Ethno Fashion Show, “Butterfly in blue”, aims to illustrate the problem of pulmonary
hypertension through a beauty prism, draw attention to the needs of patients, overcome the
information barrier, unite and make the voice of patients with pulmonary hypertension stronger.
Patients are eager to be heard.
Canada met us very warmly. Patients with pulmonary hypertension have received the attention and
support from the audience of the Festival, which gave them inspiration, a desire to continue to
reveal their skills and talents, share it with others, improving the quality of their lives.
Of course, the idea of the Ethno Fashion Show “Butterfly in blue” is cool and appreciated in Toronto.
The charitable component has added to the spirit and good content of the show. All models had blue
lips (a symbol of pulmonary hypertension) to express their solidarity with patients with pulmonary
hypertension. The guys had blue cheeks from the kiss of the model, which was very touching.
The shows were organized by the unsurpassed designer Katerina Karol. The support was tangible
from Andrii Bakhovskyi.
Thanks to our charming models: Nadia Nus and Vladylena Yurkovych. You are awesome!!!
We sincerely thank our information partner – First West TV.
