Fashion show

The “Butterfly in blue” project aims to show the problem of pulmonary hypertension (PH) through the prism of beauty, draw attention to the needs of PH patients in Ukraine, brake the information barrier that exists in the world, unite and make the voice of PH patients stronger, improve the quality and life expectancy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azEybpBXvBk).

The project involves holding fashion shows with participation of PH patients as models. Fashion shows take place in various cities of Ukraine and abroad.

On May 5, 2017 The “Butterfly in blue” project was launched in the “Lvivarnia” museum complex in Lviv and united 19 patients with pulmonary hypertension from different parts of Ukraine, without age restrictions (https://youtu.be/gLvjo11Zrt4).

On July 7, 2018, the “Butterfly in blue” project became part of the celebration of Ivan Kupala feast in Lviv at “Argo” hotel and restaurant complex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-JQHTis0zA&t=51

On September 14-16, 2018, the project “Butterfly in blue” under the name “Ethno Fashion Show “Butterfly in blue” became part of the Program of the XXIII Festival of Ukrainian Culture in Toronto (Canada) – “Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival” and charmed all the visitors. And that’s more than 800,000 people. All models were with blue lips (a symbol of pulmonary hypertension) to express their solidarity with PH patients. Three PH patients came from Ukraine to participate in the fashion show as models:
