Sincere grattitude to all merciful people.

Sincere grattitude to all merciful people.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all people who contributed to the organization in Ukraine of the Day pulmonary Hypertension, which took place on Tuesday, May, the 6. Special grattitude to our volunteers who handed out purple balloons and flyers with information about the symptoms and the risks of the disease. We are very grateful to Lviv City Council, the Department of Foreign Cooperation and Department “Press Service”, and in particular to Yakimov Salomiya, who helped with the organization of a flash mob, and of course, to journalists who highlighted this event in the media.

The planned press conference with a famous doctor cardiac, MD Professor Lubomyr Kulek was quite good. The doctor again assured all the present that pulmonary hypertension, though being rare is dangerous disease and can be congenital and acquired. The disease requires a systematic solution to the state level. But who would like to take the responsibility to solve this problem and how to specifically help patients to cover the cost of the expensive treatment.

To somehow clarify the situation, representatives of our foundation “Sisters Delilah” with Victoria ( pulmonary hypertension diseased) knocked on the door of the chief of Lviv Main Department of Health – Vladimir Ivanovich Zub. He tolerantly heard our problem and promised to assist us in dealing with it.

Another straw to find ways to help patients was the Department of Health of Lviv region. The doors were opened to us by Acting President of Health – Orest Sereda. By a happy coincidence, he had a meeting with Chechotka Bogdan R. – member of the Lviv Regional Council, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Health Care, Maternity and social protection, the chief doctor of Mykolayiv municipal central hospital. No doubt, these people embracing leadership positions within their jurisdiction can directly influence the course of solving the problem of pulmonary hypertension. They gave us hope that can be revived only by deeds.

We believe that we `ll be heard, because for everyone who knocks, the door is opened.
