November 10 in Lutsk at the Korsakiv’s Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art, a fashion show of the Lviv designer Olesya Marchuk & Butterfly in Blue took place. In Lutsk we arrived with the team of the “Sister Dalila”, together with the patient model and our longtime friend and volunteer Oksana Rubay. The show took place after dinner, so we had the opportunity to see the whole process of preparation. This is a make-up of models, fitting clothes and, of course, training and rehearsing how to walk the podium right and present a collection of clothing. During the show on the podium, along with professional models, three patients with pulmonary hypertension walked. They really impressed the spectators who warmed them with their applause. Our special models walked so professionally that it was difficult to understand who went to the podium for the first time. The Butterfly in Blue project is designed to draw attention to the problem of pulmonary hypertension and make the voice of patients stronger. The project itself gives the participants the confidence and inspiration for new ideas and inspires faith and inspiration to fight their illness. And for some it is a dream that has become a reality. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizer of the fashion event and Grace Model House’s Anna Tril for the support of patients with pulmonary hypertension. Also thank you for the unexpected gift – a partner diploma and a present from Fragolino Novellini. Also, this day with us was deputy of the Lutsk City Council Yulia Vusenko, who deeply penetrated the problems of patients with pulmonary hypertension. Our young volunteer Vlad Kulish helped overcome the information barrier.
