“Medicines for patients with pulmonary hypertension will be bought on the money of the Lviv budget” – ZIK portal
Lviv regional council approved the Regional program of improvement of medical care for patients with pulmonary hypertension in 2015-2017 years.
This decision MPs adopted at the session of 15th September.
For the financing of the program are planned 9.2 million UAH from the regional budget, including 1.8 million USD – in 2015.
As noted in the text of the program, for this year there are 14 registered people diagnosed with “pulmonary arterial hypertension” in the Lviv region , some of them have to run specific treatment with expensive medicines, which are vital.
The program includes purchasing of the required number of medicines of sildenafil and iloprost for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
