The two loop courses had a short run between the laps. The water temperature was between 22°C and 24°C. The two loop bike courses guided the athletes through the middle of Frankfurt. The course, which was hilly and challenging was closed for traffic. Thousands of spectators were cheering up the athletes on the 180km bike course. The 42.195km long and flat run course consisted of four fast laps, which allowed the athlete to reach marathon-times. The race was surrounded by thousands of spectators along the coast of the river Mein in the center of the city.

This large-scale event was attended by thousands of interested persons including representatives CF “Sisters Delilah.” We met with members of the Association of pulmonary hypertension of many countries. At the booth there was YEALH Spirograph-device, which can measure the vital capacity of the lungs to all comers, and also stick stickers that reflect the problem of pulmonary hypertension.
It was great to meet with members of associations of PH from different countries, these are usually people suffering from PH.
We spoke to members of associations of PH and retold about the existence of our  “Sister`s Delilah”, charitable orgation, a problem that exists in Ukraine, and about our work.
We are immensely pleased that we were able to visit the Ironman!!!

This huge marathon was supported by the world`s famous German company Daimler AG-concern- a company which is the automaker of a  famous car brand- Mercedes-Benz. IRONMAN 2014 – a great historic sporting event with the host city Frankfurt had played an important role not only in the current progress of sporting events, but also in the current state of the problem of pulmonary hypertension disease and in particular in the spreading of information about the PH disease in different countries
