Regional council doesn’t  provide patients with pulmonary hypertension with free medicines. 14 residents of Lviv region need constant expensive treatment. The appropriate program was initiated by charity fund of “Sister Delilah.”  Fund director Oksana Kulish claimed that without the necessary approvals of regional authorities, the program wouldn’t be considered in the session again.

“We have been trying to get approvals since December. They just send us here and there, like playing a ball. Two people of the Lviv region have already died. Although they said that everything would work out without any problems or issues. But…”- said Oksana Kulish.

The regional health department says that the issue was included in the agenda for the next session. Officials hope to provide about 1 million UAH for the necessary treatment this year. However, the Department of Finance has not yet been agreed the program and returned it for revision. “
