Organizers of the Etno Fashion Show “Butterfly in blue”: Yuriy Mysyk, Petro Lanko-Nesterenko, Oksana Kulish – Charitable Foundation “Sister Dalila”.
The Ethno Fashion Show, “Butterfly in blue”, aims to illustrate the problem of pulmonary hypertension through a beauty prism, draw attention to the needs of patients, overcome the information barrier, unite and make the voice of patients with pulmonary hypertension stronger. Patients are eager to be heard.
Canada met us very warmly. Patients with pulmonary hypertension have received the attention and support from the audience of the Festival, which gave them inspiration, a desire to continue to reveal their skills and talents, share it with others, improving the quality of their lives.
Of course, the idea of the Ethno Fashion Show “Butterfly in blue” is cool and appreciated in Toronto. The charitable component has added to the spirit and good content of the show. All models had blue lips (a symbol of pulmonary hypertension) to express their solidarity with patients with pulmonary hypertension. The guys had blue cheeks from the kiss of the model, which was very touching.
Nadia Nus (model patient with pulmonary hypertension): Beautiful embroidery reigned everywhere. The models conquered the podium at the grand, large-scale annual festival in Toronto. I’m happy that there was a chance to be part of this wonderful event. I hope that as models with the PAH we managed to reflect that inspired Ukrainian impulse, namely, the impulse to life, beauty and be an integral part of society. I am pleased, I am extremely enthusiastic with support and attention !!! My eyes shone, my heart was glad, and my soul was resting. It’s like a fairy tale) Sea of emotions and positive; everything that surrounded and was inspired by new creative ideas, gave me self-confidence. “
Vladylena Gudz (model patient with pulmonary hypertension): “Impressions from the festival are incredible !!! All that happened on the stage was incomparable. But the most vivid moments were still fashion shows! They were bright and driveable. For the festival it was new and unusual. In my opinion, everyone was happy with the organizers, the participants of the shows, and the audience. All three days passed in an atmosphere of fun, good mood and positive. “
