At the Lviv downtown the representatives of the Rare Disease Association organized the project “Zebra” – they told passersby about the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension and urged them to take care of their health, as Lviv region has about 20 patients with pulmonary hypertension. And that’s just the official information.

“The symptoms are not specific. It’s like the sound of hooves: they may come from the horse or zebra. As zebra is a rare animal, we made such parallel (zebra is a symbol of early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension). We will help those, who are willing to: we will make an appointment for consultation of a doctor, provide legal support, if needed, and help from social workers “- said the head of the Rare Disease Association Oksana Kulish.
