As part of the Annual Ph European Conference in Barcelona, Spain, a joint discussion between the Board of Directors of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in Europe (PHA Europe): Gerald Fischer, Pisana Ferrari, Luc Matthysen, Hall Skaara, Juan Fuertes, the public organization “Pulmonary Hypertension Ukraine Rare Disease Association” (PHURDA), Ukrainian Association of patients with pulmonary hypertension was held. The conversation was directed to discuss the situation with pulmonary hypertension problems in Ukraine as well as the situation of patients. What has been done? Achievements? What steps should be taken in ensuring life quality of patients with pulmonary hypertension in Ukraine, their unstoppable and free treatment?

We decided to set aside ambitions aside and put to the fore the life and health of patients with pulmonary hypertension. As the life of each is priceless treasure bestowed by GOD. The human, spiritual values should exceed material ones as the latest often are temporary. It is necessary to inform those in power in Ukraine to make them see and hear people with the disease of Pulmonary Hypertension, since they are full members of society.

Hopefully the Memorandum of Cooperation between the public organization “Pulmonary Hypertension Ukraine Rare Disease Association” (PHURDA) and Ukrainian Association of patients with pulmonary hypertension, proposed by Pulmonary Hypertension Association in Europe (PHA Europe), will soon be signed, because first of all it will be a STEP TOWARDS PATIENTS WITH PULMONARY HYPERTENSION IN UKRAINE.
