Within the Ministry of Health budget program “Treatment of Ukrainian Citizens Abroad” resident of Lviv region, Kaviy Julia Petrivna, born March 10,1979 accompanied by a doctor was sent to Gleneagles Global Hospital in India by Lviv City Charitabley Foundation “Sisters Dalila”  for organ transplantation (a guarantee letter from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated January 13, 2017, number 3.15-58 / 3407-17 / 19163-zv).

The condition of Julia Kavi in Ukraine was very difficult. According to the doctor of the regional medical institution, Julia had very few days left.

As soon as the Ministry of Health of Ukraine sent confirmation of the approval of the payment for the treatment of Julia Kaviy and the  guarantee letter, LCCF “Sister Dalila” urgently organized: 1) to issue a visa for the patient and the accomponying physician; 2) airplane flight; 3) portable oxygen concentrator for the patient in the plane; 4) a portable nebulizer (inhaler) for the use of the medicinal product “Ventvis”.

Since 23.12.2017 Juliya Kaviy is in the clinic of India, undergoes all necessary tests and analyzes; she is provided with food, accommodation, interpreter, nurse (none of the “relatives” agreed to accompany and take care of Julia in India).

On January 3, 2018,  the Ministry of Health of Ukraine sent funds for the treatment of Julia – $147,000. Since Julia has come to the hospital, she is provided with all necessary, on the basis of a guarantee letter from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated January 13, 2017, No. 3.15-58 / 3407-17 / 19163.

LCCF “Sister Dalila” received information from the Gleneagles Global Hospital that upon the received  results of recent tests, Julia Kaviy would be included into a waiting list for the donor organs.

January 5, 2018 LCCF “Sister Dalila” collected funds in the amount of 55098 UAH were transferred to the account of Kaviy Julia Petrivna. Totally, on the account of LCCF “Sister Dalila” there was collected 58430 UAH. This money were used to purchase a portable nebulizer (inhaler) for the use of the drug “Ventvis”, which costed 3332 UAH. Transfer of funds became possible only after her son Kaviy Dmytro Yuriyovych, born 04.11.2001, sent details of the bank account of Julia Kaviy, who left her bank cards for children in Lviv region before leaving for India.
