The activities of public, charitable organizations (CSOs) are aimed, first of all, at achieving positive changes in society. But in order to gain the trust of the society, it is not enough to say that the activity of CSOs is transparent, open. This requires practically starting work on CSOs as a “living organism”.
1. CSO Code of Ethics. As it turns out, this is the foundation of a CSO that helps anyone who works in a particular organization, or just joins the activity, understand the CSO guidelines and decide for yourself whether you want to work in that organization, represent in society, discipline relationships within the organization .
2. Good governance in CSOs. This is the distribution of power within the organization as in the state: legislative, executive and judicial. CSOs are the General Meeting, the Management Board, the Executive Directorate, the Supervisory Board.
3. CSO communication and information system.
This is the organization’s openness to society:
– having your own website;
– open information about the address, telephone, employees of the organization;
– opening, publishing tax reports, descriptive activity reports, implemented and ongoing projects.
