Only in the “poor” country, saving money on early diagnosis, prevention and rehabilitation, having spent about 5 million UAH of budget funds …, we lose the most valuable – Life.
So why does this happen ???
Alina, Karina, Yulia and many other smart, valuable, Ukrainian women and men, having passed or not waiting for transplants, die.
 Dying due to the poor healthcare system.
This is not a problem of one doctor or one patient, it is a problem of the whole country, the health care system.
What to do?
1. Early diagnosis and full treatment.
2. Psychological support, rehabilitation before and after transplantation.
3. Educational work with social workers.
4. Trainings for doctors “Life after transplantation”.
5. Creation of a rehabilitation program at the state level.
These are just the first steps, the launch of which is critically important to discuss in the professional circle and start implementing them.
