10.14.2015 we appealed to  Lviv Regional State Clinical Diagnostic Cardiology Center  (hereinafter – LRSCDCC) with a calculation letter of real needs of 9 patients, 8 of whom are LССF of “Sister Delilah’s” wards, in providing medicines for 3 months, namely: Sildenafil for 3 months – 51 pack., iloprost for 3 months – 18 pack. These calculations are made on the basis of medical reports of patients. MP of Lviv City Council Semchii Myhaylo Romanovich was the one, who directed a deputy appeal into LRSCDCC.

10.19.2015 p. LRSCDCC announced a public tender for the purchase of medicines for 14 patients on 1.2 million USD: Sildenafil – 51 pack., iloprost – 30 pack as the implementation of  Regional Program on improvement of care for patients with pulmonary hypertension in the Lviv region for 2015-2017.

We have doubts about whether the calculations of LRSCDCC are medically reasonable???  Iloprost is being bought in the amount of 30 pack., while only 5 patients need 18 pack .; Sildenafil is being bought in the amount of 51 pack., which is sufficient only for 9 patients.

5 patients are left without vital medicines – Sildenafil.

The tender was held 03.11.2015. at 12.00 pm. in the auditorium of the Lviv Regional State Clinical Diagnostic Cardiology center at Lviv, Kulparkivska st.,85.

We understand that it is important to conduct tender and purchase vital medicines for patients.

However, we can’t ignore the facts of unclear for us actions of LRSCDCC, which should be aimed at meeting the needs in medicines of all 14 patients for 3 months to achieve the purposes of the relevant Regional Program of improving the quality and duration of life of patients with pulmonary hypertension.

Unfortunately, currently it’s not the way it should be!!!

All our actions are directed to the benefit of patients with pulmonary hypertension.

We hope that in the future LRSCDCC will take into account the real needs of 14 patients !!!
