“How I have recovered from COVID-19”, – Myroslava Dzyubynska, patient with pulmonary hypertension
Can the patient with pulmonary hypertension recover from COVID-19?
“As soon as this terrible pandemic has started, I have thought that I do not have a chance to live. I thought that being a PH patient I wouldn`t be able to overcome this virus. I have always felt that this would affect me, that was the question of time…
And here came the Covid-19 unexpectedly and treacherously.
Everything started from a usual sneezing. As well I felt a bit body ache and throat discomfort.
In two days I lost taste and smell.
I have been done IFA-test. I was Covid-19 positive. However I took this piece of news in an unbelievable calm manner and got ready for the fight.
The ambulance vehicle transported me to the hospital, where I was done PLR test which showed Covid 19.
In the ward I always was under oxygen supply. I was very debilitated and when I rose my head was spinning and I felt exhausted. I was prescribed antibiotics therapy.
In a few days my appetite renewed, as well as smell and taste. That was a good sign. After that I had been done PLR test again showing absence of Covid-19. That was a victory.
However, not everything went smoothly…Covid-19 left consequences afterwards. I still feel exhausted. There was a period when my whole body ached, muscles and bones. Sometimes I cough, but in general I feel myself better.”
The PHURDA wishes everyone health!
