Living at times of pandemia!

– I am a nurse, my daughter is PH patient. What should I do?

Since the corona virus primarily attacks the lungs, it will probably cause major problems for a PH sick person. So it is really crucial that your child does not get sick.

As a health worker, you will be more exposed than normal for the virus. And if you catch the virus, it can take days before you get the first symptoms and before you get aware that you are sick. So if you continue your health work during these trying times, you need to protect yourself the best you can and try to avoid the virus by all means. Because it seems like the virus is very contagious and that if catch it, your child will probably also catch it with normal mother/child contact.

So, my adviсe is to protect yourself at work the best you can. And be very diligent with hand washing and cleaning when you return home to your child. Furthermore, you might consider to avoid very close contact with your child – you should refrain from kissing, etc.
