For PH Patients about proper nutrition
Daily diet:
– Water no more than 8 glasses per day.
– Limit of salt, no more than 2.5 g. for 1 day (1 teaspoon).
– To cook without salt (each adds itself when eating). We can add seasonings: ginger, pepper, paprika, but not a mixture of seasonings.
– To use whole grains: buckwheat, brown rice, macaroni of solid varieties.
– To use vegetables (maximum) 350 g. for 1 day (potatoes are included in 350 gr.). Salad seasoning with Olive
– To use fruit 300 gr. for 1 day.
– Exclude preservation (contains a large amount of salt).
– To use fish: herring, mackerel, tuna, red fish.
– Do not use very fat meat. Veal 2 times a week. Pork is better to remove. The red meat contains “iron”. “Iron” is digested with “Vitamin C”.
– It is advisable to exclude frying. Replace with the cooking, baking.
– Limit the amount of sweet. You can eat: marmalade, marshmallows, domestic oatmeal cookies.
– Eat chicken eggs (protein).
– Take beans, sunflower seeds (2 tablespoons), nuts (0.5 cups) 3 times a week.
– Use butter no more than 1 teaspoon per day.
– Exclude transfats.
