In 2018, provision of patients in the Lviv region will be conducted at the expense of government 
procurement and the regional program which provides –  1,664,400 UAH
Now the Lviv Regional Council conducts Health Care Commission where the representative of
PHURDA explains to the officials the need to increase the budget of the regional program.
Despite the fact that the need is big the representative of the Ministry of Health in Lviv said that
financing of thepatients is up to regional government. Unfortunately, the regional authorities point
at the state.
Public procurement in 2016 came in June 2017, as a result, patients had not been receiving vital drugs for 1 month – May.
The request from the PH URDA representative to prevent this negative situation in 2018 was not
heard.
