The bill №2386a-1 “On organs transplantation” was approved by 243 votes of Verkhovna Rada officials: http://www.slovoidilo.ua/2016/04/21/novyna/suspilstvo/rada-uxvalyla-zakon-pro-transplantacziyu-orhaniv

The bill establishes a presumed consent for donation of deceased people. That means, if you while living didn’t write a statement on the prohibition of taking your certain organs and/or other anatomical materials for transplantation and/or producing bioimplants, you are considered to give a consent to donate your organs after death. The only exception is a situation in which the body of the donor has signs of violent death.

This is a step forwards towards the development of transplantation in Ukraine!!!
