On February 25, 2015 in Pulmonary Hypertension Centre at Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology in Kyiv there took pace a meeting of LCCF of “Sister Dalila”  with Sirenko J.M. who is MD, a professor and the  head of the department of symptomatic arterial hypertension of  National State Centre ” MD Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology” of  “National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and with Radchenko A. D. – MD, the head of the Center for Pulmonary Hypertension at Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology.

During the meeting the issue of possible diagnostics of PH patients of  LCCF of “Sister Dalila” has been discussed. There has been denied the  information about creating a single Ukrainian registry of patients with pulmonary hypertension, as it turned out, that the Center established an online pulmonary hypertension registration program, a kind of online medical record of the patient with PH for internal use.

Professor Sirenko J.N. agreed to allow access to this online application to specialists of PH in different regions of Ukraine, as well as access to  the Ministry of Health if they reveal this initiative.

In addition to this, we had an opportunity to communicate with PH patients, who  are hospitalized at the Center of Pulmonary Hypertension, particularly with Mary Dakus, born in 1984.  She told us about the problems with the purchase of medicines.

It was a very fruitful day.

Let`s hope that doctors and Patient Organizations will join their efforts towards improving the quality of life of patients with Pulmonary Hypertension.
